For getting Supervisa for parents, which year(s) do I need to show proof of minimum required income? I want to apply for my parents this year (2022) and I am just getting the tax papers for last year 2021. I wonder if one should have necessary the minimum income for all three years? or just the last year (2021)? Do I need to wait for 2022 tax years next year to apply this year? And I don't think I have the minimum income in 2020, but I have for 2019 and years before that as well as 2021. Would that work? and can CERB and CRB also be counted in the minimum income earned for each year?

Right now it would be 2020 tax year that you will have filed in 2021. In a few months you will be able to count the 2021 income. EI for unemployment doesn’t count towards LICO. CERB does count towards LICO but not sure about CRB.

Thanks for your answer, so only the income of the last immediate year of the year that applying (e.g.2021 if applying in 2022) need to have the minimum required income, right? or the income of all three past years need to have the minimum income? I need to know this for sure to see which year I can gather the documents for if tax files, slips, bank statements, etc for :|

For supervisa it is just the past year for LICO. It would be the year for which you have the most recent NOA.

Thank you! Who can ask about whether CRB can also be counted toward LICO (as well as interests earned on savings accounts if EI is not counted)? and are the work payment slips AND bank statements also required? or are they optional? and my last question, not related to this, is how about for temporary visitor visa of parents? would that need income proofs of last three years, or just the immediate last year?
