test invite and background check

According to the citizenship application tracker, I am scheduled to take the test. However my background check still shows as "in progress". From what I read on this forum, it looks like people get their background check completed first and then receive a test invite.
Is this normal? or this means that my application will not be normally processed?

Also any members experience of how much time after taking the test does the result get updated on the tracker? I read that it is not automatically updated the moment you submit the test.

Take things as they come. For most test come after BG check, but for some it the opposite. If everything is fine, your test should be updated in a week in the tracker (not immediately), although you can get the results immediately, but it's unofficial
