Montreal - DM - Who is still waiting for oath and how long have you waited

Hope everyone who has dm and has waited longer than me are taken care of soon. I’m sure they are taking people now that had AOR in Feb 2021 to not have to do another background check. I will see if I can quickly ask the officer at my ceremony if they have any tips that I can share with long time DM’s. Hope everyone has a good day.

Done with the oath late January. It was a long 26 months journey. Thank you everyone. I hope your turn for those who are still waiting is soon. I am grateful for this platform. It was an outlet to express the frustration I felt during this long painful process. I feel relieved now. Proud to be officially Canadian at last after 10 years being in Canada between studying and working. Now the wait for the citizenship certificate and passport begins.

From DM to Oath ~ 5 months
