Hi All, Can someone please help me with completing the Canadian Citizenship Application Form (CIT 0002) I am just stuck on question 12 regarding filing tax returns....the form shows 6 years and you have to tick if you were or were not required to file a tax return and then you need to tick if you did or did not file the tax return. I have filed all my tax returns, however, the one year listed is the year prior to us moving to Canada. So I was required to file my tax return in my home country and I did, however on question 12 do I mark this year as yes and yes or no and no. As the answers will be no if they are specifically referring to filing tax returns in Canada...they just dont make it clear if it is only regarding your taxes in Canada or in country of origin. I dont want to tick yes for that year and then when they check with the CRA they see we didnt file taxes for that year in Canada....any help will be greatly appreciated.
