May I ask if what should I do if the employer do not respond to my request for LMIA or offer of employment number? Tho the last time time that they communicated was just 3 weeks ago for the signed JO

Few employers go through the LMIA process. Did the employer say they would go through the process? If so, they need to prepare all documentation, pay fees, submit and wait months for a response on whether approved or refused.

All you can do is continue to follow up. The employer is under no obligation to file a LMIA if they don’t want to.

If the employer hasn't responded in three weeks then it is probably a safe bet they are not going to go through with the LMIA process and you should start looking for a new employer and job.

Maybe time to move on. If employer was willing to go through the LMIA process, they would have initiated and started the process right away.
Yes, that's true. But for going through LMIA, should there be a need for them to reach out to me as well? No e-mails from them at all that's why I'm not sure whether they proceed with LMIA or not

Would assume they have not filed for a LMIA since they have not contacted you at all. LMIA processing takes months. The employer has to pay the fees, and complete a market assessment as to why they need a foreign worker and could not hire a Canadian or PR. They do not need information from you to file for the LMIA. After several months, they will receive a response to the LMIA request, and then you can file for a closed work permit.

It's pretty much guaranteed they are not moving ahead with the LMIA process. If they were, they would be responding to you. Not responding to you is a signal they aren't doing it.

Sadly that's possible but I hope that they will inform me at least about it
