You know what? Same here...My meds expire next Thursday however being South African I highly doubt my meds will be extended anyway. So why f'ing wait

My friend's was (not sure for how long though). I posted about it earlier today. If your current medical is M1 I think it might get extended. Call and ask before you do upfront.
Thing is, even when you do the upfront, they don't always update it on your app (seems it's a different department). My friend's upfront was done and sent to IRCC since 6 months ago and it's still not reflecting in her account. She has sent at least 5 webforms in this regard but still no update. At this point she's expecting IRCC to send her a medical request which will then cause a slot to be opened on her account for her to upload the medical sheet .

yeah let's hope. Nothing to lose by doing the upfront. I'm sure you won't have to wait another full year for your PPR...

Hello guys, does it smell of desperation if I called IRCC 2 weeks ago, and I'm calling them again next week. I forgot to ask the visa agent I had on phone which VO is taking care of my application.

Call them everyday if you need to. Multiple times a day if you feel like it. There's no need to worry about smelling of desperation, we are all desperate for a conclusion to this IRCC journey .

PS: Write down all the questions you have so that you are sure you covered everything on the call. The queue wait time is not fun.

Was it upfront or it was requested? If requested, they usually open a slot for you to upload on your account. Either way, you can send it via webform if no slot is opened on your GCKey.
