Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2021

Hi Everyone,
From what I have read, almost everyone who applied in late Sept and early Oct 2021 have received some sort of communication from IRCC.
I have not received anything. Do you have any suggestion for me if I should contact IRCC? someone has commented that they would only accept 30,000 applications. Is it possible for them to reject mine simply because they have selected 30000 applications to work on?

Below is my timeline:
Invitation Date: 24 Sep 21
Application Submission: 01 Oct 21
Number of Applicants: 3 (My parents and Myself as sponsor)

I don't think they would reject applications due to quota, only if the person doesn't meet the eligibility requirement or is unqualified for some reasons. I didn't even worry about the quota. I expect we would hear back from them soon

Yes, I received the email last night.

Oh wow, nice. Now that you have the UCI and application number, you can link online. They would send a request for medical and PCC subsequently

Hi everyone,

I submitted my application on Nov 3rd, 2021
Yesterday got my first email, with a letter saying that my PA had a lot of missing information, which was submitted.
20 minutes later I got another email with another letter just requesting just the IMM5406 (Additional Family Information) because it was not submitted in the original application, which we submitted, I double-checked, so I guess it was a glitch in the system and they can't see it, I don't know.
Today I sent the email with the form they requested (one day later).

Does anyone know how long they are taking to answer for the next stage, after requesting information of this kind?
Also, they gave me an application number starting with XF#########, but I still can't link it to my GCKey account, is it too early?

I am also in same boat like you, first application submitted on October 4, received email on November 23 for requesting IMM5406. Resubmit application on November 24. I also recived application number Xf#########, I think it is temporary application number. Since then after didnot hear anything yet.
Eagarly waiting for any communication from IRCC.

no they won't reject you on this ground. you will be asked if you missed any documents.
have your parents done biometrics and medical before? maybe they don't need anything from your side at the moment?

Hi guys, I would like to share my parent sponsorship application update here:

Oct13, 2021: submitted
Feb2, 2022: sponsorship eligibility passed

I want to know by this step if I should
1. link the My GCkey account
2. send medical report & police clearance report

As you have already received the Sponsorship Eligibility email. Check the email address that you provided in the Generic Application Form for Canada..IMM008( (On-Line Principal Applicant form). The email with attached pdf of Biometric Instruction Letter (BIL) and/or the instruction for Medical Examination will come to that email address.

ok Thank you that is a relief...my mom has done biometrics before but not my dad. so they would need medical for both and biometrics for dad. Also, they are coming to Canada next week. Hopefully , that would help with any movement in my application once i send the change in contact info.

Hey folks,
Received today a pdf saying my parent is eligible (CPCM / CTDM - OVS SPR Eligibility Decision Letter).
The thing is: My parent lives in Brazil, but the letter says it was sent to their office in Mexico. (!!??) Why not the office in the same country they are in? When the process is complete, is my parent going to have to send their passport to another country through mail?? That sounds crazy.

IRCC does not have visa processing office in every embassy. That is why!
