Could his highly publicized support for the freedomconvoy be one of the reasons?
I think not his support for that solely but because he seems to actually have a backbone and not apologize for having an opposing view. Personally, I like him for his economic views. The reason we are all here is because of Canada's economy and Libs have no concept on financial management

I like him for some of his views too. But I guess he wasn't conservative enough for the Conservative party, as he was trying to push some neutral, (borderline leftist) narratives.

Nothing wrong with living with your parents, it's not illegal. However, in my opinion, moving out of the nest is part of growth and the cycle of life - even animals leave their childhood 'home' to start their own family.
I know this discussion was happening in a different context. But there is another aspect of this given the state of real estate in Canada. There is a sub on Reddit called "Personal Finance Canada". if you search on that you will see plenty of stories of people well in to 20s or some in their early 30s who are still living with their parents and no they are not Indians. They are staying with their parents because they can not afford to buy their own place because of the house prices in Canada. My guess most of the times these are people who have done degrees which sound fancy like philosophy, political science but do not have much relevance in getting a good paying job. More and more young folks are finding it difficult to leave their parents house. Some do move to basement and pay "rent" to still feel like adults and get a feeling that they are independent but fact is given the current scenario unless something drastically changes we will see more and more kids living with their parents in Canada especially in GTA.

Will they recalculate age points if you lose them during 3 years wait?
No of course not. Getting older while you wait for your PR to be approved is beyond your control. Choosing to get married is not.

The reason all those rules I mentioned are in place is because if they weren’t, it would be very easy to manipulate your CRS scores according to your convenience.

man these Immigration courts are brutal.
Brutal that they are following the law In determining their was misrepresentation in someone’s application?
Did you even read the link ? It’s like a soap opera
Sorry, there are laws that have to be followed .
I find it more surprising that the individual landed in 2008, and 10 years later, in 2018, required a interpreter to give her testimony. That’s brutal

In Russia we have an awful real estate market, so, arguable it is better for you financially to take a girl back to your parents and live together until you can afford to buy your own place. It is next to impossible to do though, as I would like to find a girl who would agree to this. Staying single and working hard core is another sad solution. I lived with my parents till 26 y.o. saving for flat.

Hi guys need your help.

I got a request letter saying that, "Proof of funds: Please provide updated proof of funds along with transaction history of each account for the past three months to the date of this letter. Also, please provide written explanation and supporting documents for all the source of funds in your accounts. This must be received at this office by: 2022/02/07"

AOR : 22 march 2020
My POF was 100% gift deed from my father on AOR (march 2020).

MY question is I took a few personal loans 6 months ago. So with that effect my effecting balace (savings - personal loan) in $1500 below requirement as of now. So I made another gift deed worth approx $3000 CAD from my father again on 2nd february 2022.

is it acceptable to make POF gift deed made after request letter or do I face rejection chances?

That is the reality of the young folks now in Canada in GTA. Either they live with their parents to save or their parents are generous enough to "gift" them the downpayment.

Many believe that the financial burden of having kids is one of the reasons for low birth rate in Canada. There is immigration in Canada to tackle low birth rate but the immigrants come in and realize having kids is expensive and aren't having many kids themselves.
countries like India where you live you life in one household. Rich countries are just becoming less rich and shift the lifestyle to countries that are used to be poor. If you spend on the house $1 mln instead of $400k that spent your parents, than this is at least $300-600k of a difference between their spending capabilities and yours even if we factor in inflation and all that shit. They just had more money to through at raising a kid.

I see on solution here. Work hard, invest and hope that you can afford kids by 50. For man of course. Girls should just marry smart those men who can afford a family in the horizon of their biological clock.
