We submitted our application on October 18th 2021 and received our temporary AOR on Dec 03 2021. We never received our Permanent AOR but when I logged into ecas to check status it says "medical results have been received". is it possible that they accepted the results already in file? Why have I not received any email updates and my Permanent AOR yet? Also since they accepted the medical results does that mean they have already reviewed my documents and everything checks out? So many questions as we did everything by ourselves without any agent or lawyer help, any comments and thoughts would help. Thank you.

PS: I have been trying to call IRCC for a week now to get more information but I cannot connect to an agent yet.

You can't, but you could try to link without AOR. I remember there were options to link with name/DOB/passport/etc...
Yes I tried all the different options listed there, everyone of them came back saying "we can't find the application"

Hi has your spouse done medicals in the past, say in the past 5 year?
I was having trouble linking so I called and they walked me through with the info they see, (for place of birth of PA, they had the province, and not the cit as mentioned on form IMM0008).do call first thing in the morning, depending where in Canada you are, EST time, 8:00am or end of day 03:00-3:15pm

Yes the last medical was on 2019. I keep trying but I never connect with an agent because they all are busy. What menu option did you use to get to an agent faster in the call?

I should ask, is this an Inland application?

ok good. there is a public policy in place to help streamline eligible applicants. anyone applicant who has doe medicals in the last 5 years are still valid as long as IRCC finds them low risk- see below link. you are very lucky- my commo law missed out by 1 year or so..

its very rare that your application shows up on ECAS and not get deemed complete- you can look forward to getting AOR soon. you can also call and get the end and enter the application number without the x and see if they give you any info or if it says if it was received. you can try that now if you wish-

LOL there is no fast way of getting through to the end to speak to an agent.i wish there was.

Glad to hear that , at least that's one less step in the processing timeline. So i called and the automated system gave me " application received but haven't been fully reviewed yet, no need for medical, biometrics or interview and we'll let u know if this changes and we have started background processing ". Also i tried logging into ecas and it let me log in with the temp aor number excluding the first letter (X). And yeah i'll keep trying to call early in the morning as well to see what's the problem.
