There is a question on uk visa application form:
"Enter your country of nationality or citizenship, as shown on your passport or travel document. If you have previous or additional nationalities or citizenships, you will be able to add these later in the application."
As i am travelling with RTD should my put "Officially stateless" or my country of citizen?

Many thanks

Unless you are actually stateless you put your country of citizenship and include your RTD. Explain that your passport has been confiscated by CBSA.

Yes as long as you are not yet Canadian you have to select Stateless.
I did mistake when I applied for Bahamas visa I put my original country and the result They didn't allow me to travel at the airport even with the visa issued they told me it should indicate stateless and not your original country small mistake can cost a lot whole trip was cancelled from the airport

Being stateless is different. They should have allowed you to continue to Bahamas. I have travelled to south american countries and my south american visas stated my original nationality. Had no issue with it.

Hi,
You are using RTD, you must select this option in nationality section

Nationality: Refugee - Article 1 of the 1951
