Switching from PNP to CEC

Hi house,

Can we have our PR application processed in multiple streams like PNP and CEC simultaneously?

If not, is it possible to cancel a submitted PNP PR application and re-create express entry profile, get ITA for CEC and submit application under CEC again?

Request anyone to please respond. Thanks a lot in advance!!!

Okay couple of things...

Are you married? If yes then you can get two express entry profiles (1 per spouse) and possibly 2 sets of applications in process... Otherwise... You will have one express entry profile and another paper based application.. Obviously, paper based application sucks.

Yes, its possible to cancel in flight application. But know this :
1. Cancellations are NOT fast. Basically, you have no way to cancel on the portal per say. What you do is to send a webform to IRCC with a signed document asking them to cancel your application. This takes time (sometimes as long as a month or more...).
2. If you are under PFL, you cannot cancel.
3. Draws are not happening right now. And they may not happen till june and most likely a new CEC will not be processed this year. Some may take even longer than 2023. This is due to backlog and landing quota.
