Hi, Can you please suggest if the old tracker below is secured and authorized to use. I see in many posts people refer to old tracker. Is there any difference between the details that we get between old and new?

IMHO, I believe the old tracker gives you more detailed progress of what IRCC is working on; while the new tracker just gives you a general idea.

Same here. I got my first ghost update in new Tracker on Jan. 17 then logged in to old ECAS and found out IRCC started to process my case. I got second ghost update in new Tracker on Jan. 26 morning then checked new Tracker and old ECAS on Jan. 27 morning and found nothing changes either...
Do you get anything updated?

No, no updates unfortunately, don’t know what’s happening with our applications. Everyone who gets a ghost update either gets background check completed or FP request 1-7 days after, but for us there’s nothing…

Quick question:

On ECAS link: https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do?lang=en

I don't see my citizenship file but I see status of my wife's file as 'Approved'. She landed here on December 12, 2021. I don't see my citizenship file.

Whereas, I see my application in New Tracker - https://cst-ssc.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login and all of fields except test and oath are in progress.

I submitted my file online on Sept 16, 2021 and got AOR on December 01, 2021.

Any thoughts why I don't see my application on ecas link?

Only paper application status is available in ECAS. You can check your status in the new tracker

This is great news. Congrats! Yes this seems to be normal and they send it few days before the test.

Do you know when your BGC got completed? And other checks like language proficiency, Physical presence and prohibitions got completed? if so when ?

All checks are in progress, nothing is completed.

Its a unique case though. Are you suggesting even when BGC is not completed, you have the test dates update in new status portal?

The general trend is that BGC gets completed then you get the test invite/dates.

not necessarily, my friend ( May applicant ) got FP request & Test test invite before his BG
