I m a refugee PR in canada I had completed 2& half years in canada my wife is in my home country she want to meet me she waiting a long time she going to abnormaly cze I not meet her she totally upset mentally & physically now
I already apply spouse application but due to COVID immigration process is very slow . My question is in these conditions can I visit home country for very short time like 10 or 15 days ???
Please give me legally a good suggestion thanks

dont do that it will effect your citizenship application....my sister did the same mistake and now her application is hanging. going back to your home country means you are not at risk. dont go to home country before getting your citizenship

There no legal way to do this. As said above, if you visit your home country, this will put your citizenship application in jeopardy of refusal and also put you in a situation where your PR may be revoked. You can't visit your home country until you are a Canadian citizen.

The only option available to you at this time is to meet up with your spouse in a third country (not your home country / not your country of persecution). Hopefully that's possible for you and your wife.

Get a Refugee travel document and meet your family somewhere else instead of home country ..Donot visit your homeland until you become citizen
