Initial PR Card Not Received (8+ months)

Please let me know if you sent a solemn declaration and got it. If so how many days it took you to get pr card after solemn declaration.
I am about to move to another home by march i am not sure if I can move if they keep on delaying like that.

I didn't have to. It took 3 weeks to get it. Apparently my office who's in charge of our PR cards is pretty fast.

What's your office ? You can check it on your COPR.

Thanks for your reply. It's been 4 months from now if i call them they are not picking up. Voicemail says only pick up for emergency in Afghanistan.
I believe my office is Ottawa. I am not sure what to do. I have to move out of this house by feb. I have to apply for solemn declaration. If i do i don't know if I will get by end of feb. I am frustrated.
Is there any way to contact them ?
My copr will expire coming june. Please help with your input.

Maybe you can try to send your picture one more time through mail to the office in charge.
I’ve read that some people did that and they received their cards few days later. I’ve the address of Montreal, but the Ottawa one I can’t find it unfortunately. Try to search it and send your picture one more time, maybe that would fix your problem.

PR card’s picture. Even though you’ve sent it digitally, some people tried to send it back but “physically”. By doing that they “unlocked” their process.

I know, that's the point. For your first card that you're waiting for, I guess you've sent a digital picture, right ? I was saying, send back another picture, but a real picture through canadapost. The purpose of this is to wake them up.

I got my invitation in August 25, 2021 and sent PR documents on August 26, 2021. I got CoPR on August 28, 2021.
There is no update so far ! I had to cancel my trip and it’s so frustrating !
Anybody has same situation ?

What update were you expecting? You mean you had to cancel your trip to Canada for landing? Why?

Hi , Is there any one still waiting for the initial pr card since May 2021. I am in similar boat, where my pr card has been delayed for 8 months. I haven’t gotten an update on my linked application.
