Imagine all applicants from 2019, 2020 going forward with mandamus!!!
fuck yes the system should collapse, the supreme court should call out JT for this epic disaster he created, and bring that little prick mendishitno answer the shit he left behind.
I really do wish a lot of suffering on Mendicino. Hope he has a terrible life going forward. Genuinely.

is it possible to get a cons party member to sponsor a lot of applicant's from 2019 and 2020 to go mandamus and later sue the previous immigration minister and whoever created this mess. This should bring all the hidden political agenda's they had to get back with another minority govt by crapping on foreigners.
if there's a sponsor then nobody has second thoughts, Godspeed mandamus

I had decided to take a break from the forums today but this one made me comeback.

Let see.

1. A certain lawyer says : Applications MAY be cancelled, do mandemus!
2. Then : Oh, they may delay your application being processed to 2023 (75K --actually 78K-- pending, 50K places!), so you may be left out in 2022! Mandemus now! Plz!

Let see.... 2. contradicts 1. Its an interesting argument and the point being pushed is : no matter what you do, you will perhaps not get your PR in 2023, if ever, so come to me and do mandemus!

Points not said :
1. A flood of mandemus will swamp court systems, which are already taking quite a bit of time to even accept your writ.

2. The new levels for 2022 (here are for 2021 : https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/news/notices/supplementary-immigration-levels-2021-2023.html) are around the corner (https://www.cicnews.com/2022/01/canada-to-announce-immigration-levels-plan-2022-2024-by-february-0121114.html#gs.mbesau). By Feb 11, they will be declared and we will know what level have been fixed. A very modest increment of 25-28K will ensure most of those who have been backlogged will be accomodated this year itself. Whats more, Faser guy has shown inclination to do so : https://www.cicnews.com/2021/11/sean-fraser-prepared-to-increase-canadas-immigration-levels-even-as-46000-immigrants-landed-in-october-1119662.html#gs.mbf1n7. So yes, come 11th Feb 2022, you may see the level set to 430K or so and that will absorb the backlogs.

3. In all probablities, new rounds of invitations will start in Fall 2022 with landings scheduled for 2023.

So what? If mandamus becomes a wave big enough to crash the courts, it's actually good because that'd get serious media coverage and the govt would be directly involved (@dankboi 's idea). If not, mandamus will get you your PR (or rejection) in a few months where you'd totally have waited much more otherwise. I don't understand why people choose to wait more than 12 months. Sure some people might not have enough funds for that but I believe many people do.

At this point I view mandamus as similar to O'Toole's priority processing idea. You pay some more money and buy yourself time. The way libtards are dumbasses is they will be exhausting courts with mandamus files unlike O'Toole's suggested method.

Probably no draws for 6 months yes. They'll be busy melting down the INLAND backlog (exactly why IRCC guessed 36 months for FSW/outland this year because FSW/outland won't be processed this year either) but we all know they'll just slack instead.

I personally isn't affected if their processing on my case is delayed, but to bring them to court for their incompetence and their actions against the applicants. They consider the foreigners ( applicants + families) as a spare number to just fill the quota if no inland is able to fill it. They simply crap on the foreigners who manage to reach 480+ and even 500+ CRS score which they claim is the basis to apply.
We need some folks here to help reach out (email) to some mainstream media (cbc, torontosun, thestar) regarding this issue. Should find immigration related articles from their page and find the authors, sometimes we will get their contact info.

The youtubers are going to any extent to create engagement and gain views by making applicants suffer. They are lowering to the standards of attention seeking e-whores of onlyfans. I request all to downvote all the content they post, it gets impacted during the first 30 minutes after it's published. So the videos don't reach to more nor it'll be recommended. Downvoting a day old video isn't gonna help much

There's 90% chances of no fsw draws until mid 2022.
IRCC's backlogs from 2017--------- is enough and more to achieve their quota's until 2023
so basically holding a draw for fsw- foreigners is meaningless to them
Instead doing inland draws so as to keep them from losing status will only have benefits.

To be honest that seems likely given the covid situation, even Q3 or Q4 seems likely. I am just hoping they wouldn't cancel the fsw altogether or make it extremely difficult for ourlanders, like introducing occupation based invites.

bullshit
They are not holding draws cause they aren't able to process the backlogs and they won't allow the local Visa offices to handle the backlog even if they are capable of doing it.

cancel the fsw altogether - if this happens then it displays the failure of Justin Trudeau and the previous immi minister mendishitno. This alone is enough to bring JT down

Maybe, but it gives them a solid cover, imo it's all politics, instead of introducing new infra for programs like TrPr, afgan.. they ate more than they could handle, eventually killing outlanders..

let's ask @legalfalcon too
@Naturgrl @cansha @scylla please read the following case by @Jennyababy

Please professionals. Help me with my trouble.

I have been reading some forums online that EE applicant who picked/ticked "NO" for question on being refused visa to any other country apart from Canada. Would be misrepresentation, while had US visa refused 2 years prior to EE submission.

I have raised a webform to mention it is "YES" before the MEP and BIL and now seems the R10 has been completed.

For the web form no response up to today.

Please is there any cause for alarm?

The part of EE PR Application that the question of visa been refused should have stand alone not combine with other categories of application.

Thanks for your comment
Yes, it's misrepresentation to answer "no" to that question if you have a visa refusal from any country (Canada, the US or anywhere else). The question specifically asks about refusals to any country (not just Canada).

As long as you raised a webform, you'll be fine. To the best of my knowledge you shouldn't have been expecting a response to the webform but I'll let others comment on that. I believe there's an entire thread here dedicated to this topic. I would go ask your webform question there.
