Timeline for Self-Employed Application

What sort of turnaround time are you experiencing for Self-Employed Applications? We submitted out application in March of 2020 and have not received anything from IRCC--no Unique Client ID number, no application number. We've moved since submitting out application, but we can't update our information online without either a UCI or Application number. After submitting, when did you receive anything from IRCC, and how did they contact you?

Processing times seems to be around 2.5 - 3 years right now.

Yes, but does that mean we won't hear anything until 2.5-3years has passed? Like, no application number/client ID? How are we supposed to update our application for life changes during that time.
