Visa refusal-work permit along with spouse study permit

Is there anyone who has applied for work permit along with spouse's study permit and got refusal. I got refusal by the visa officer saying that he is not satisfied that we will leave Canada after my spouse's studies. Please give valuable suggestions with things to take care while re applying.
