ECA under review. Is the electronic version enough?

Hello,
According to the IRCC, "You must include your ECA report and the reference number in your Express Entry profile." When the MCC finishes reviewing my ECA, will I receive an electronic copy to include in my EE profile? Or do I need to wait for the document to arrive and scan it?

But they clearly state that you "must include your report" AND the reference number. Don't they mean the actual report?
