Passport submission at Karachi VFS

Is there anyone here who has recent experience of submitting a passport for a visa at VFS Karachi ?

How long does the process take?
What are the charges/fees?
Can someone else submit and collect the passport on your behalf?

I went to their website but there are no info except timings

My wife submitted pasport on 15th dec and ircc office received it on 17th dec and still no response . Orcc is close till teusday . Before this in past it only take 5 to 6 days. Wednesday again IRCC office will open hope for good response Inshah Allah

5-6 days processing time
Around Rs 2700 (including SMS charges )
Yes you can (you need to fill a form provided at vfs)
Also not now a days in person collection is close so they will deliver at home.

I sent email to islamabad embassy 2 days before and got respinse that due to winter holidays we will send back your passport next week to visa center .

Thank you for the update. Are the fees vary depending upon VFS? I hear that it would take 5000 PKR now in Karachi? Are the charges written on their website? Do they provide any sort of receipt after the payment?

My wife visa is issued and yesterday pasport was sent on our home adress hope we will recive it today . on gic key account counterfoil number is also shown and visa is till biometric validity . She gave bio in 2019 so visa also till 2019 pasport is valid upto 2031

not 5000 I paid around 2700 and yes they will provide you a proper receipt

Thank you so much for the replies. I checked with them again and they informed me that the 5000 amount was when biometric is done along with passport submission. So that clears out the confusion. The amount is indeed PKR Rs 2700 for passport submission.

Any update on time lines ? My Mrs got her ppr Jan 30th and she submitted it on Feb 6th fees was about 3500 pkr now. Just wanted to know how pplz experience is and time lines of ppl receiving visa .. hope to hear back from someone.

1. CIC received application for permanent residence on May 7, 2021.
2. medical instructions sent on October 6, 2021
3. 2nd medical instructions on September 28, 2022 ( as it was a year )
4. medical done on Oct 18th 2022
5. correspondence on October 27, 2022 ( saying passport on profile is expired which it was and sent to cic same day )
6. Nov 4th Decision made on ECAS
7. Nov 28th pre arrival received.
8. Ppr received Jan 30th
9. Pp submitted Feb 6th

New update everyone by the grace of Allah all mighty we got the copr and visa on passport
