Usually not if you have not spent more than 6 months in that country. However, on a case by case basis, IRCC can ask for PCCs if your profile indicates that a PCC would be required to assess criminality.
thank you, sir @legalfalcon
I had uploaded an explanation in place of PCC telling them I never lived there for 6 months, So, it's up to the officer to consider right ?
and if he wants he can ask me again for PCC. My question now is that my application is complete and safe with explanation right?

@legalfalfon please help
Good day @legalfalcon please I need your expertise. If I’m currently on vacation say in the United States and I get my ready for visa mail while there, can I stamp my passport there or I’ve ti wait till I’m back home? Also considering the 30 days timeline to stamp. Kindly advise.

To Legal Falcon

I have received my PR visa and i am going to Canada next month.

I have been nominated by Manitoba under my cousin sponsorship and she live at Brandon but i am going to live at Winnipeg.

So my question is, will this be a problem if i am going to live different city than my COPR mention city ( My COPR mention city name Brandon) ?

Please advise me ASAP.

Thanks

No problem at all.

You will have to inform IRCC that you are in the US and IRCC will then send you instructions to submit your passport in the US or at Ottawa.

It can take 3-7 weeks or longer so make sure that you will be in the US for that long.

My background check status changed to we are processing your background check from we are processing your background check, i fee need any other information we will message you.

Last gcms notes received criminality passed and info sharing in progress

is this a positive sign or a normal update ?
@legalfalcon

Thanks you for your reply.

Wouldn't they ask me why i am going to different city than mention city in COPR ?

What should i say if they ask me ?

No one asks that.

Hi legalfalcon,

I have been following your answers for quite some time.

Now I have an issue to enquire:

In my previous study permit application, I had to list all my travel history, and I didn't mention a business travel to Brazil because I traveled there on a semi official passport that my company collected back after the travel. And my study permit passed within 1 week.

Now I am applying for PR, do I need to list that travel in my travel history?

Because I left that company, that passport was revoked, so I don't have the visa stamps. Though I have boarding pass and passport information scan.

Thanks a million, I was worrying about this detail for quite some time.

Regards,

And do I need a LOE if I mention that travel in the upcoming EE application?

Thank you.
