Biometrics was done from previous application and valit until 2029

Since that i see 2 ghost updates on oct4 and 5th
After that nothing

Super visa Application Timeline for dad

• Applied online on August 18, 2021 using GC Key
• Confirmation of Online Application Transmission August 18, 2021
• Submission Confirmation August 23, 2021
• Biometrics Collection Letter August 24, 2021
• Biometrics completed August 27, 2021
• Passed medical exam September 8, 2021

We have been waiting since then. I am contemplating re-applying using the new IRCC portal. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks all.

I've read a post on facebook group, someone called IRCC about supervisa reapplying due to new rules and their answer is NOT to reapply unless they told you to do so.

It is good then I really don’t feel like replaying since it is been 9months of waiting

Congratulations on getting the Super Visa for your parents. I am Shreya from Ontario. I am also planning to apply for my mother's Super Visa. I was wondering if you can help me with some questions.

1. Is the current timelines around 52 days for Super Visa using the New IRCC Portal? Or is there a big back log of applications and current timelines are several months?

2. What kind of ties to home country should we show? (Family, Property, Profession) I understand its critical to show this as a guarantee of return.

3. Should I use the New Portal or GC Key? Is it true that the New Portal applications are faster?

4. Do we need to submit insurance for 100k? If so, where should I purchase from?

I would really appreciate it if anyone can help me out here.

2. What kind of ties to home country should we show? (Family, Property, Profession) I understand its critical to show this as a guarantee of return. - you can show dependent Family member/Pensioner information/Business/Provide return ticket information.

3. Should I use the New Portal or GC Key? Is it true that the New Portal applications are faster? - New Portal

4. Do we need to submit insurance for 100k? If so, where should I purchase from? --- yes for super visa you should have to submit VISA. you can contact any insurance agent to buy it (GMS/Manulife)

I would really appreciate it if anyone can help me out here.

My mum reapplied and got approved within 2.5 months. No one told us to apply or not. It was our choice.

We applied March 2021 and we still go no update we’re taking to reapply again I think u guys should do the same reapply again
