Tracker changed to complete a day after the ceremony

That's pretty fast! Mine took 8 days to show as Complete. I wonder how long it'll be for my certificate :\

Hi all, we had our citizenship ceremony on November 23. We are still awaiting the citizenship certificate. Our office is Scarborough. It's been a little over 4 weeks. Should we wait a bit longer? Should we contact them? We did not request expedited handling. Anyone else who attended the same ceremony and still waiting? Also, the address on file is of our immigration lawyer. Thanks!

You should contact your immigration lawyer, i think IRCC has definitely sent it by now. My office was also Scarborough and I got mine within 2 weeks, without expedited handling as well. Ask your immigration lawyer to sift through their mail properly.

It concerns me that your passport application was urgent and it still took almost a week for you to get your passport o.O
I was hoping to be able to make a trip on Jan 8, but now I'm not so sure....

Ladies & Gentlemen I got the oath on FEB 1, 2021. Finally!!!! Calgary office.

My friend has failed his test and tracker shows completed so anybody have idea about it ???

If it’s the first attempt and the individual failed, the status will change back to in progress from completed and a rescheduled test will be requested.

The average wait time before they contact the individual for the 2nd attempt is between 45-60 days but may take longer.

If the person fails on the 2nd attempt, the third attempt is in front of an immigration official.

660 days passed since my application, with "in process status". Is this a normal period ?
Is there any way of contacting IRCC and will it help in expediting the process ?

Hi all! A bit overview of my app status:

March 2020 applied
Sep 2020 AOR
Jan 2021 Background Check Completed

Since Jan 2021 I haven't received no updates, is there anything I can do here besides waiting? I've requested GCMS notes earlier, its been well over a month and I've received no response except the automated one saying they won't respond if its not an emergency or related to Afghanistan.

Also how do I know which office is processing my application? I applied from Brampton, ON. Is that something I get notified of in the later steps?
Same here. March 2020 applicant. Background check completed Jan 2021 and nothing since then. I have requested GCMS notes and sent web inquiries multiple times. Nothing has moved on the application though. Any inputs on how to follow up on this?

I got my PR card renewed and received that quickly which eased some stress. But I'd still like to see some progress on the Citizenship application.

So I woke up this morning feeling so much joy because finally my ECAS got updated today, December 28, 2021!

I finally received my invite for Oath of Citizenship and scheduled to attend on January 5, 2022!:D Starting off the year right! :)

This forum had helped me a lot in so many ways! From my PR application in 2016 to my Citizenship application in 2020.

I wish a joyful and successful new year to all of us and have a year to come with a lot of blessings! Thank you everyone!

My online tracker shows being scheduled for oath ceremony on the 18 of Jan 2022. However we haven’t received the oath ceremony details yet. what should I do? its been a week I am waiting for email

I hope someone can give an insight regarding my case: The current status of my application is decision made since Dec 16, 2021. I do not have an oath date yet. It will be one year this coming January 22, 2022, since my background check got completed. Will the status of my application change to in process again if I don't do oath before January 22, 2022? Thanks

I am in the exact same situation as you are.. i would like to know if someone else faced a similar situation and what did they do after it... hopefully IRCC will take some mercy on us poor souls and give us an invite for Oath before that...
