A new application number will be given to you as the previous one will no longer be valid . What my lawyer did was just to add to the documents returned by submitting new things I did and I was still doing as at that time so a new application number was given to me.

What I understood is when the lawyer sent the missing documents to the address that they gave in the letter, they will give me a new application number
Is this right?
In my own case all my document was returned back to my address, so we heard to add the necessary document and send the documents back and after the received my application, a new number was given to me as the old number was not valid again

I dont mean to be rude but you seems so impatient, you should understand that this application is a privilege and last resort not a right, your application did not yet overpassed the processing time, you still lucky because there is already “Passed” in your application assessment. You are pushing your luck and burning the bridges of other applicant, you have no idea how other applicant went theough just to get AIP, some waited almost 2 years just to get “In Process” if you are not in removal order or vulnerable situation why dont you just wait for their updates. They are prioritizing people who are in vulnerable situation and you are not one of them. When you applied you already knew that the processing time is 2 years, to say that they lied to you is something that sometimes the system has glitch or error.
be patient thats the best thing you can do. Your application did not passed the processing time yet.

so you can't judge me with this attitude, but this is not the problem... the problem is they don't give much importance to people, they think we are numbers but not humans who have a life, a family, projects etc ... according to my GCMS notes , they haven't even started to process my file, (my arguments) for months and yes they lied ! they dared to say that my application / eligibility is being processed! they have a horrible bureaucratic system.
it's really disappointing.
i really believe that god charges no soul except to its capacity, so people who waited for decades to get a decision had the capacity and the power to wait for this long period! it is not my case unfortunately, you don't know my situation and my children's case at all to be able to judge !
I think the majority of h&c applicants are vulnerable ! but the law just privileged a few cases than others, you don't know at all my situation and my case

I guess you meant to be rude......everyone is vulnerable and each applicant has unique situation that we don't know about. The least we can do is not to judge
