Filing my citizenship application this month, Online or Paper?

I am filing my citizenship application this month (Dec 2021) and I was wondering if I should go through the paper route or the online route?
From your guys' experience which one is smoother and quicker at the moment?

In my opinion, online is definitely faster. Most of online applicants receive their oath ceremony invitation in less than a year. They also receive test invitation faster considerably. I’m a February, 2021 paper applicant who has not even received test invitation after almost 9 months! Most of online applicants have passed the test. If I could go back in time, I would had definitely chosen online over paper application.
