Might be a bit of a wait passed the medical on the 11th and no update since. Patience is key to this process.
I thought NYVO was fast...still waiting for them to reopen our file after winning appeal in January 2021.
I thought the same and at first at least comparatively speaking they were faster than average ,it seems that they have slowed considerably now.
Submitted a webform on the 18th of November and another this Monday,no response on either so I suppose their response time.has slowed as well haha ,no news is good news I guess.
Looks like they are not responding to Web forms that are inquiring about file status. I sent many and never got a response.
Can't say I'm surprised anymore, I guess now it's just back to a long waiting game was hopeful that they would stay a little faster than others but what can we do.
Have you heard anything on your end? You said it was last January since you heard anything was hoping you'd hear something soon.
Nothing. Our file was denied then we appealed and won in January 2021. I was told that the file was transferred to NYVO in October. Nothing since that.
That's ridiculous absolutely ridiculous, I genuinely hope you hear some good news soon I'm sorry you've had to go through such a mess with this system.
Contacted MP for a liaise with IRCC our MP is known for being very efficient when dealing with them, we received our response less than 24hrs later
"All assessments referring to your criminality, eligibility, medicals and security have all been passed and now all that is left to be done for your file is determining a final decision. My contact at IRCC was unable to give a time frame as to when a final decision may be made."
So some good news for a snowing and blowing Tuesday.
