The most complicated thing for us is going to court. I checked all our information before going to court! So it's really easy for us to deal with! The medical examination, security check, and background check have all been done before! Really, we should be fast, and shouldn't be pressing our speed without processing!

How to choose the number of people when linking? As for my own application, my common-law partner is already a pr, ask the number of family members in the application, should I choose 1 or 2?
I have used UCI and date of birth. No need to choose application number. Choose 1

We need to receive the official document number to connect!
I was able to link my paper application to my online GCkey account using my UCI and birth info. Choose the other options other than application number and you will be able to link. Tell us your status then.
My status:
My application is at 28% and it says it will take another 16 months (estimated) to complete! I hope they accelerate everything as they received my medical as well.

  1. We received your application for permanent residence on May 31, 2021.
  2. We started processing your application on December 6, 2021.
  3. Medical results have been received.

Hello everyone,
I submitted my "paper" application on May 28, 2021 and only received an email from Mississauga office on June 23 saying that they received my application on May 31 and provided a Temporary Number that cannot be used to connect my paper application to online application.
Any ideas when they are going to start the processing? Many people here that submitted in June got correspondence from IRCC that they started processing in December.
Unfortunately for me, nothing yet! And you know without PR you cannot do much. Like I want to become an ATIO and RCIC but need PR to take the exam! :(
It’s possible that the processing of your application has started this December. You don’t need any correspondence to know this. Just go online and check your client application status using your UCI, Family name, date of birth and country of birth. Most of the people you’re referring to got no correspondence. You can now try to link the application to your GCKey when you have ascertained that the processing has started.

All the best.

I just did all this a few hours ago. I am at 28% mark showing 3 steps are done.
  1. We received your application for permanent residence on May 31, 2021.
  2. We started processing your application on December 6, 2021.
  3. Medical results have been received.
Don't know how much longer it will take.

There are some questions here:
1- Original entry date:
2- Date of last time you entered Canada:
3- Location where you last entered:

I never go out of Canada after claim, first and second can be same date right? But I came from different provience.
For third : it was BC that I first entered. Not asking about ON provience where I'm currently live in? Or It's asking provience that I entered last?

Yes, 1 and 2 can be the same. And 3 is asking about your port of entry. Was it Vancouver International Airport for example?

It was Vancouver yes. Do I have to be spesific? I crossed the lane from US.
It's asking last entered. So It's not asking Ontario right?
Nope, not Ontario. If you crossed the border, then mention the place. I am honestly not sure what you should write in this case since you did not cross through an official port of entry. Maybe other members who were in the same situation as you can answer.
