MEDICAL INSURANCE COORDINATOR Urgent help to decide NOC code!!

Hello all,

I am a doctor (MBBS) by education, but working as a Medical Insurance Coordinator in a hospital since 3 years. I am having a hard time deciding NOC for myself. All my documents are ready and only NOC has to be decided. Can anyone help me urgently please??

NOC 1312 is a regulatd profession and requires license but my job right now does not require license. Is there any other NOC that would match my profile? And if the NOC is regulated will we need to get licensure??

My responsibilities include:

1. Providing medical support to approval section, claims processing center and billing section.
2. Coordinating with medical staff for the clients contracts , requirements and forms.
3. Coordinating with Insurance companies for rejection & replies.
4. Responsible for Reconciliation with Ins. Co. for final settlement.
5. Implementing Dept. policies, procedures, local and international standards.
6. Indicator development, Data collection, measure performance, function process and outcome. Conduct analysis and interpretation of data collected.
7. Participate in Incident review and root cause analysis.

You match duties not title to your NOC. Doesn’t matter if NOC is licensed or not. Who did your ECA?

My duties are split between 1243 and 1312...So I am confused.

@Naturgrl Hi, I have a query regarding the no. of full academic years. I started my MBBS education in 8/2010 and my degree was awarded after mandatory internship in 02/2017. Should I enter 6 or 7 years, as the application is not accepting 6.5 years? Please advice.

Disregarding the months?? I was reading through other threads too and somebody mentioned full academic years..so since mine is 6.5, shouldn't it be 6 complete years? Kindly if you can clarify...I'm in a fix.
