Hi all, I have just applied to restore my status as a visitor online. My spousal application was sent back as in complete on Oct 26th and lost my status. I just realized I did not submit my marriage certificate as additional documents or the back of my Spouses Canadian ID document. I submitted and uploaded these documents to the Webform. Will these documents be added to my online application? Has anyone had quick response using the webform?

Not sure what happens in your case with respect to your status, but it sounds like you were not legally a visitor when you submitted the application the second time.

Can you provide a clear timeline? So you sent your application sometime before October, they returned it to you asking for what? They asked for the marriages certificate and the back of the ID, and you just remembered you did not send them? Things are not clear to me.

One other thing, when they returned the application, did they return everything or did they just ask you to send the missing documents via webform?

I was originally on a working holiday visa I sent off the Spousal Application with the OWP by mail two months prior to my work visa expiration . In one of the forms for my address I did not write Canada so it was sent back as incomplete. I was in maintained status so I fell out of status and had to stop working I have 90 days to submit an online restoration application(visitor)which I did last night. After I sent the documents I did not realize I was suppose to send my marriage certificate as I mentioned I am married. I will be sending my spousal application this week by mail.

Also for family member proof of status I only provided a copy of the front of the citizenship card when it’s asks for both sides. This has been a very stressful time and an annoying overlook on my part.
