Hi all,

Is it possible to have twice a medical result update? I got a ghost update back in July and I think it was because my results expired.

I logged in today and now it says “last update: December 3 2021: you passed the medical exam”.

My AOR is August 1st 2020, I doubt they updated the results almost a year and a half later.

I thought they would only reimburse after getting at some stage of approval.
Not sure if this could be related to some batch process that they decide to reimburse everyone. (just guessing)
I just wanted to check how I paid it, but as far as I remember I used INTERAC. I hope they are able to reimburse INTERAC payment, even though they don't accept it anymore.

I don't recall how I paid exactly, but they reimbursed it to my credit card. So I guess it was a credit card

I was also exempt from bio, but never got that money back apart from a mail it will be refunded back last year

Yeah... and I didn't see such things reported on this forum yet. That's why i am interested why I got the refund and no one else did

Wow my AoR is August 2nd, I actually applied midnight August 1st.. Still nothing on my profile after medical expired!
My bimoetrics shown complete on Oct 15, 2020, because I am exempted. Never got refund nor emails regarding that!

I guess the real update is that they got your file and extended it to "you passed the medical exam" on Dec. 3rd.

The first one is more like an automatic one, that everyone gets after about 1 year of their application/medical exam. That is the one that I got a few days later my application turned 1 year old.

Since then, my application is in the same status that I don't need "medical updates", while I wait to them to get my file and update to "you passed the medical exam".

In other words, your application is probably in a more advanced stage than mine.

Think Ottawa Vo has started working on august September 2020 files now. I never got an update on my file after Nov 2020, until this recent medical passed on Nov 30th 2021.
Almost a year file was not touched. Hopefully you should have an update soon. Mine is sep 4 aor.

hello guys , how safer option is it to do a one year/8 months master then apply for 8 months pgwp and then during work permit apply for fsw pr option. As of Apr 2021 Eligibility: Passed; Criminality: In Progress; Security: In Progress.
Medicals passed: Oct 29.
ADR: Nov 10; Replied: Nov 15.

What was the ADR for? Proof of funds?

I finished 1yr academic program last year and got lucky to land a job then received ITA in Dec. 2020 under FSW. It really depends, I just took the risk.

I got refunded for biometrics 2 months after I applied, so in November-October if I’m not wrong, the thing is that I can see my biometrics number together with the app# and uci, but in the part where it says about medicals, background check, etc, I don’t see it updated xD it says we don’t need your fingerprints… bla bla.

ircc works in really weird ways.

Did you get a Ghost Update when the Medical passed?

Just checking if the medicals status can change without a ghost update.
