Do you mind sharing how many weeks exactly between you received the email reply and your PR card?

Mailed them on 19th November, got reply on 23rd November, Update on CIC portal on 29th that PR card mailed and Received the card on 2nd December.

AOR: 18th October 2020
ECOPR: 26th June 2021
PR CARD: 02 December 2021

Finally it's over.

Thanks to @Paotario. Got reply from IRCC.ClientPortal-PortailClient.IRCC@cic.gc.ca and within couple of weeks recieved my PR card.

Teknas congrats. You give me some hope. My ECORP was June 29th 2021. Hopefully mine come soon.

Yes I know it’s frustrating btw this was their reply and with a week or so saw the update on cic portal

Hello,

Thank you for your inquiry regarding your PR card. Your card has been delayed due to an error at card production. The issue has been fixed and is currently at card production again.

The status of your Photo in the portal will remain at In Review with IRCC until the PR Card status is updated to Sent to Client or sent to IRCC.

At this time, IRCC has currently reduced operational capacity due to exceptional measures to curb the spread of the COVID-19.

As a result, there will be significant delays in processing the high volume of first time PR card applications.

Therefore, we are unable to provide an approximate timeline of the production and distribution of the cards.

However, please be assured that we are doing everything possible to complete the PR card process for our clients.

• What should one do if they are outside Canada (for extensive period of time), when they receive the portal email?
• Do you know of any scenario when principal applicant is outside Canada, received portal email, and was able to request IRCC to send PPR through local Visa Office?

If you are outside Canada, you have to inform IRCC that you are not in Canada. You should also update your address with IRCC.

However, if you will be back in Canada in a few days, then you can hold on responding to IRCC, and upon your return respond back to the portal mail.

My daughter PR card got approved last Nov 30 and mine was last Dec 2 but still didn’t receive the cards.
