Does anyone know whether the FSWP draw is run on the basis of applicants profession??? I mean does this draw have anything to do with current job vacancy in Canada??? For example an applicant is a doctor with high score but currently canada has IT job vacancy.Will the draw bring more IT background applicants to apply to canada? Thanks

No it is based on CRS score. Nothing to do with vacancies. Don’t know if you are a doctor but few IMGs practice in Canada. It is a licensed profession.

Yes, I'm a doctor by profession. But I want to apply for express entry for the general pool and later do masters in public health. The draw for general pool is currently not running.
No one here knows if and when they will restart.
No one here knows what the draws will look like in the future (i.e. if they will be general or occupation specific).
There is lots of speculation on this forum but none of us know what's going to happen. You will just have to wait and see along with the rest of us.
