My MPNP application status has changed from assessment in process to Information requested although I didn't receive any email requesting any information.
What can this be?

Go to the mail mpnp sent to you with your application number and vip mpnp mails. That's what I did from day 1,when I got information requested my mail dropped before I even saw it on my mpnp profile. Meanwhile ask the HR or referee from your place of work to check their emails too.
