HI All,

I have received my Invitation email on Sept 24.
Though, I received my NOC from CRA today.
So I am applied today.

Is this an issue? I just realized that the email says 60 days from the date we received email. I thought Deadline was Dec 6 before 11:59 pm as mentioned in guideline. I am really confused and scared. Please clarify if I submitted late.

Thank you

Thank you for the info. Did you received it from the email address you log in to the portal which is your email, not your parent’s email, am i right?

Just asking so I have an idea which email we will check. Our application was submitted last Oct 13, 2021.

Yes, you are right. I entered the portal again today and still nothing new. Did you receive an e-mail?

Dec 6th is a confirmed date for the deadline

For the principle applicant, does it need to include all pages (including blank ones)? Or just pages that have info in them?

If my father is on work permit in Canada, Can I sponsor him under pgp?

You can sponsor him provided you were selected through the lottery. No his income does not count.

Can he get work permit first and then I sponsor him?
Thanks!
Him getting a work permit and you submitting an application to sponsor him under PGP has NO directly relationship.

You need to be a PR/citizen and make more than the minimum income for 3 years before, get picked in the lottery and then you can submit an application to sponsor him.

Him getting a work permit.. that's on his own... If his work experience, his education and if he can get an employer willing to apply a work permit for him, that's all on him. That has nothing to do with you. (that would be on LMIA which mean he has suck unique skill/experience that employer cannot find any Canadian or PR to do the job)

Hi all
I was just about to submit the application for sponsoring my parents , and while doing final checking was wondering about the IMM1283.
I didn't see that in my checklist. are we supposed to submit it?
