Vancouver
Anyone got idea when will be Oath takes place? Thank you.

Im in the same boat buddy.... just mine was last updated NOV 23 and i havent heard anything yet..... :)

I got DM and updated on old ECAS system on July 21, 2021 said all COMPLETED except OATH. But still after 6 months I didn't get any OATH invite. Anybody has such kind is issues? Just waiting for OATH for more than 6 months is insane.

On the same boat here.

@Danny_T I don't even have DM yet but all steps are completed except oath ceremony, since March 2021. Still waiting, waiting, waiting... Application was submitted March 2020. After several enquiries via the IRCC webform, yesterday I was asked to furnish all information of when my application was delivered, proof of delivery as they cannot access my file!

Seems like this is a new strategy by CIC to say that they can't access the file. Just to delay/ignore request.
I am sure you would have mentioned your UCI and application number in the web form.
For my address change I clearly mentioned my UCI, application number along with all details and every time I received the same reply provide more details as they can't access the file.
This would frustrate the person and stop contacting them.

It can be highly favorable as well - If the oath officer expedites, the certificate can be picked up from the nearest IRCC office within a day or two, and passport can be applied under expedite where you get it within 1-3 days.

I have a question regarding the oath ceremony; at what point do I have to tell the Immigration Officer to expedite my certificate? Beginning of the ceremony when I log in to zoom or at the end? Thanks

*My ceremony is tomorrow

Beginning of the ceremony when you are 1 on 1 with a clerk.

@Kanedaa Yes I have mentioned every detail including UCI, application number and also attached the AOR, test pass emails etc. Still it does kind of irks me that it has been this long and my application never moved forward since March this year. Also my PR card expired in September 2021 as did the passport of my birth country in June 2021! I called the IRCC and the officer advised I not renew these, if I don't plan on leaving Canada, as my citizenship application would probably be approved soon (this was in May 2021)

1/2 year waiting in-between DM & Oath? Oh no.

Try contacting IRCC asap to check if it has been printed at least because in process normally means they havent printed or sent it out yet unless they forgot to change the status. I suggest you reach out to them immediately to check if they have sent it out. You can also send an email to the same address that you sent your oath signature to get a faster response.
Finally received my citizenship certificate! 1 week and a half after the ceremony on Nov 23rd - scarborough office.

I took my test in July and I haven't heard anything since. Background verification and prohibitions were marked as complete months ago but still no decision made or an invite to an oath ceremony.

Feels like it could still be months or maybe years before I'll ever become a citizen, and I'm beginning to wonder whether it's worth the hassle at this point when they've had my money for long enough.
