TRV Outside Canada - Philippines (Applied prior to Sep 7, 2021)

Hello all,

We applied for TRV from outside Canada from the Philippines on July 27, 2021. Biometrics were enrolled July 30, 2021 and “completed” on August 17, 2021.

We didn’t reapply on September 7, 2021 because our situation hadn’t changed.

We would like to hear from other’s who had applied before September 7, 2021; if you’ve heard anything about your application and whether you reapplied.

I applied my parents June. Biometric completed July. But until now no new update. How about yours?

Applied for my brother in law and wife's cousin back in November 2020 and to this date nothing. So their processing times of less then a month is totally not accurate at all and when we first applied it was only 3 days processing times hahaha

I applied in the month of July only and got no response since then. I again applied on 25th November using gc key and got approved today. So i would suggest you to re apply as new applications are getting processed fast now.

Did you apply both the applications using GCKey and what were date of filing for both application ? Also did you withdraw previously filed Visitor Visa application and then re-apply ?

yes both the applications through Gc key and no I didn’t withdraw previous application.

Thanks for your quick response. Did you mention about your old application anywhere while re-applying ? You got PPR within a week ? From which country did you apply ?

No didn’t do anything for old application and yes got PPR in a week after re applying from Delhi, India.
