Hello... Just submitted my sponsorship application a few weeks ago
I payed the biometrics on my pgp sponsorship however my parents recently did their biometrics for their tourist visa.
I payed twice actually.
My question is, Do i need to let them know that they already have biometrics to get a refund or they will actually know it during their initial check and I will automatically be refunded? Or am I going to still be refunded or not? lol

Hello I would appreciate if someone who has submitted application can answer this question.

I have used representative form for my mother and submitted all the documents. Can i do the final signature from my side. My mother does not use the computer or find anyone reliable to help her.

Hello Everyone!

I am a newcomer in Canada and making enough money according to minimum requirements. I wanted to confirm after how long will I be able to sponsor my parents?

In April 2022, It will be my first Tax Return in Canada. Would I be able to sponsor them on just 2022 T4?

If the PGP programs are staying the same, you will need 3 years of income to qualify to submit the interest to sponsor form once IRCC opens for submission.
And a lottery will be drawn and whoever is picked will be able to submit an application to sponsor. You will need to wait 3 more years if you 2021 tax return fullfill the income requirement. (and assuming that your 2022, 2023 will all meet the minimum income of your family size, you may be able to join the draw in 2024)

Scenario: My wife got invitation to sponsor her parents. I came here on work permit and later my family joined me through visitor record. after i applied PR including my wife and kids in 2017. my question is that when i submitted my pr application i am primary applicant and wife and kids are dependants. that means that my wife is sponsored by me for PR? in that case if she selects yes to above question she is not eligible to apply ?

I got separated from wife in Feb 2018 and got divorced in Jan 2020. Do i still need to include her in family member list for my 2018,2019,2020 MNI requirements ?

URGENT HELP NEEDED

Hello All,

For the PGP, I uploaded my parents photo in the portal as I had the electronic version of the photo. However, the instruction is as below:

• Photos: The back of one (1) photo must contain the following and must be uploaded.
  • bear the date the photo was taken;
  • bear the name and date of birth of the subject, as well as the name and complete address of the photography studio;
  • The photographer may use a stamp or handwrite this information.

Question: If I am uploading the photo online, how do I write on the back?

something is missing in the information that you added ,or you made a mistake in the dates i.e you put the year but not the full date as required in principal your email can be used as a way to contact you and that is normal ,reverify the application line by line

Thank you for the info. Did you received it from the email address you log in to the portal which is your email, not your parent’s email, am i right?

Just asking so I have an idea which email we will check. Our application was submitted last Oct 13, 2021.
