You are better off submitting a new application than applying for JR. Lawyers like to recommend it because it is another avenue they will you will milk your bank account dry. I am talking from experience. I am sure virtually everybody in this group will agree with me.
I almost got scammed by a lawyer that told me she did a JR for me. I never had any discussion about JR with her. As a matter of fact, at the time, I did not have a copy of my refusal letter with me. IRCC did not send me a copy. Also, the lawyer did not have a copy. My question to her is, how was she able to do a JR without knowing the reason for my refusal ?...this question made her look stupid. I requested a copy of the JR application she claims she did. when I read it, my jaw dropped!... Believe me, when I say this, a bright high school student will do a better job than her. All she wrote as an argument was all GENERIC argument that has NOTHING to do reason for my refusal. Bear in mind that at the time, she does not have a copy of my refusal letter.
I am yet to see anybody in this forum that has got their application approved through JR... It is not an application that is in a client's interest. Rather, it is application lawyers use in wasting their client's time and milking their bank account dry!
