No update for the Siblings Visa application submitted in the month of March 2021; planning to submit a new one in the new application link now!

Visitor visa applied on 5th March, 21
To meet Daughter and son in law
Biometric done on 5th August
We are Sr. Citizens, Govt. Pensioners, still waiting.
Did not reapply.
Waiting for ......

My mother's application is similar to that of yours. But she was approved and got the passport with 7 years VISA on it.

Received Passport Request: Oct 2021
Got Visa Stamped Passport: Nov 2021

Note: I am a Permanent Resident of Canada since Dec 2020 in Ontario.

A similar case submission was done by my Sister and Brother (Extended Family Members), where they have submitted their Biometrics in Sept 2021 but no update till now. The only current status shows as "Background Verification is in-progress for more than 2 months now". Planning to submit a new application in the new portal.
