Hi Seniors,

I am from India and applied for my citizenship in June 2021 and got my AOR in Sept 2021.

I got married in October, 2021 in India. And now I want to get here as asap ::::as a PR or a visitor Canada. What is the fastest way to get my wife into Canada?

1)First apply for her PR while she is in India(Family class) ?.....and shortly after that apply for her visitor visa too, while she is in India. What are the odds of getting a visitor visa?
OR

2)First apply for her visitor visa in India .And when she gets the visitor visa then apply for PR (family class visa) while she is in India? What are the odds of getting a visitor visa?

OR

3)Apply for her visitor visa to Canada....and then when she reaches Canada as visitor then apply for her PR (Spousal Visa Class) ?
But in this case what is the possibility of getting a visitor visa

Regards

Fastest way is as a visitor.

No one can give you the odds of the TRV being approved. It's generally more difficult to be approved if you have a spouse in Canada. However it's possible if you can demonstrate a strong profile (employment, property, assets) and it helps if you've previously traveled to countries requiring visas such as the US and UK.

Spend some time reading through the posts in this section of the ofrum to understand how to put together a strong TRV application.

When you say a strong profile....that implies for me the (Sponsor) or my wife (the application)
