Great thanks congrats

Last question, do they take photos for media/news paper / etc?
No, they don't. You will get a chance to take a photo of the judge. They will tell you when to do it.

In the ceremony, can one use/tear COPR letter (Confirmation of PR)? in case they have moved and can't find the friggin' PR card, or would it be an issue? Would they delay my ceremony and tell me to reschedule when I find my PR card?

I took the oath yesterday. How long before the tracker updates? Also how long was it for people from Vancouver office to get their certificates? I didn't ask for urgent processing as I don't plan on travelling in next few weeks.

You will have to report the lost card as per this site.

Also, read through this thread on the forum.

EDIT: Do NOT tear or destroy your COPR

For me it took exactly 4 weeks for the Certificates to be delivered in Winnipeg

I got my oath invite today for December 14 (also Calgary). I am living in Switzerland however at the moment and I am worried that getting from the oath to actually getting the passport will take pretty long, also considering CanadaPost with Christmas and probably Christmas hours for all businesses. Not to mention I was finally going to spend Christmas with my European family after 7 years and I would have to cancel that. Are there any people that have some idea/any insight on how long a new invite may take? Or what the consequences could be for rescheduling the oath?

Also, maybe unrelated, but I wrote a webform months ago to change my residential address to Switzerland, but I got the standard reply (about the refugees etc.). Should I be contacting them again so this is changed or is this not an issue if it still has my in-law's residential address linked to my account?

Thanks everyone, and I am happy Calgary office is doing something!
