Awesome, congrats!!! happy for you :) Finally you are one step away from being done and dusted with IRCC! Hope the rest of us who are waiting can follow suit!
Yes, I also hope we see some movement for all other applicants soon.
By the way, do you happen to know how long after taking the Oath will the process still last.
Will also try reading some previous posts and see how long it took for them.
Best,
A.

If you live in a Metro area Canada post usually delivers within a week or 2 max. You can choose to apply for the passport in person and pay an extra $50 fee and speed up the passport collection process.

I’d say one month after oath to have passport in hand :) hopefully sooner.

Thank you soo much for the valuable info.
I was stressed out since I was afraid I could be left with no travel doc for a long time.
Am so relieved now and just hope for a speedy process for the remaining steps
Good luck to you and everybody else.

Hey Anjushka! I still have not received DM, last update was test completion. My MP office was informed by IRCC that the processing time is 26 months and that we might have to wait until Fall 2022.. I am hoping it doesnt come down to that, fingers crossed
Hi, I’m an applicant from July 2020. Montreal office. My DM was on July 3, 2021. Until now I’ve been waiting for oath invitation for 4.5 months.
May I ask does your MP office mean for all of us 2020 applicants the processing time is 26 months? Because I know almost all 2021 applications can be done within 8-12 months. So 26 months processing time is only for us 2020 applicants? I appreciate your reply! Thanks a lot!

Hello Anjushka,

Finally it worked for you. Congratulations for the final step.
Keep us informed how the further steps in the process are. Your updates will keep us guided.

thank you and best wishes.
No more PR card renewal for you.

I’m not thinking of renewing my PR card anymore:)
Good luck to you,

Didn't I tell you! LOL. It was a long wait, but finally you are there. It should go pretty systematically after the ceremony with predictable timelines. All the best for your future.

Hello, the response was actually from IRCC to the MP office who then conveyed it to me. It appears internally thats the timeframe on the delayed applications, Unfortunately for us. The 2021 applicantions however seem to be getting processed in record speed but we never know if all of them are going to be processed that way or just a few that we are seeing. Maybe Ircc is giving itself and its staff 26 months to complete the overall processing of Citizenship applications.. we have no option but to wait I guess. I personally have exhausted all options of follow ups.

Anjushka

quick question for you.
What time of the day did the status change for you?
Early morning or noon or late in the day?
Thanks.

Hello,
I haven’t received any official confirmation yet. I only saw the update and notification on my dashboard tracker- the new one. From what I’ve learnt by reading other posts in this forum I know that there’s no mail notification to expect. We will receive an email notification (which is also the official confirmation of the oath invite with the details of the ceremony), about a week before the specified oath date.
I’m expecting this email by end of November and I’ll let you guys now when it happens.
Best of luck to all,
A.

Hi VishalRathi,
I think it was in the morning, but I’m not sure of how early it was. I first checked it at around 11:20 am on Nov 17, and that was the time when I saw the update.
But I also remember that for the Test update I checked the dashboard very late almost midnight, and that was when the tracker was updated.
So, there is no sure guess about that, but I think it’s either early morning or very late at night which was the case with my Test notification.
Don’t really know how it works though, but I’ve been checking very frequently duing the day, and in my opinion, these times are the most probable times to see changes in the tracker.
Best of luck to all,
A.

Alright,
So check the way I have been checking,
3-5 times, all at different time frames, 3-5 hrs apart. First thing morning and late at night too.

work in progress continues to be in progress.

And no one knows for how long it will be in progress or time frames between dashboard tracker updates. I had been checking continuously since August 5 - which was the last update before the November 17 update, so say probably it takes three to four months for the tracker to change from one update to the other, and even when that happens it still doesn’t mean that that each individual applicant will see changes in their application process.
Best,

Best,
True.
Mine was August 18th,
Test was July 1st,
So approx 2 weeks away from your milestones if we compare at each step.

I hope this is the final 2 weeks for me too. lol

Christmas should be better for all of us.
