Hi How did you end up getting your passport stamped from India?
You can not get Passport Stamp in India if you submitted application by using Canada as country of residence. I was in same situation they sent me PPR but then transferred my file to India. I submitted passport as I received PPR but they returned without stamp and asked me to wait. Its been 3 months i am waiting. Apply again in India via IRCC portal or GC key it will be processed between 14-30 days. Thats the only thing which we can do

This is bad from IRCC. So what did you do? Applied from GC key as returning worker?

Yes after waiting for 5 months in Total, I applied again. Via GC key. But they don’t even understand a worker is different from a visitor. They gave visa to family members but not those who are already working and living in Canada. I just travelled with expired TRV because I lost my father due to Covid. They did not understand this from last 5 months.

Sorry to hear that...
I agree TRV applications by a worker should be treated differently from visitors applications. There is no way to differentiate the application unless they open the file. People who get approved for work permits should automatically get a TRV extension as well. They have made it so complicated.

Did you try contacting an IRCC agent over the phone? Sorry, I haven't gone through this process so I might not be the right person to guide you
I already called many times there is no response. I am waiting for second application process as per customer service also they confirmed that yes new applications getting approved at faster rate than the previous ones. But i want you to wait until mine approved.

I'm sorry to hear this happened with you but what you're saying is incorrect. I had applied for TRV within Canada in May 21 and had put Canada as country of residence and was able to get the TRV stamped in India. So I don't think country of residence being Canada is the problem. Try to contact IRCC or have someone on your behalf do it in Canada to find the correct information.
