Hello,
I'm close to finishing my 4-year residency in community medicine(not in Canada). Can this be considered a professional degree alongside my M.D in Express entry? If someone finished medical training outside of Canada, please let me know if you got points for it.

Hi Natugrl! <3. Hope you're well.
Thanks for your reply. I've just noticed this on MCC official website:
(MCC) can only produce ECA reports for medical degree/diplomas and transcripts. The MCC does not produce ECA reports for specialty certificates
And residency is considered a specialty degree. I thought to myself, maybe WES does it. Then I found this note on their site:
Principal applicants intending to apply as a Physician/Specialist Physician (NOC 3111 or 3112) must be assessed by the Medical Council of Canada
Am I missing anything? Have you come across someone how got points for medical residency training outside of Canada!? Thanks

MCC assesses your medical degree if your NOC is 311 or 3112. WES will not do it. Your residency work experience should count if paid and you have one year of continuous experience.

Please bear with me. Did you mean my residency will count as "work experience" rather than "education"?
