Congratulations Okey. It all depends on you. If you send to Ghana, it's much faster but expensive. If you send through Lagos be ready to wait for another 6wks. The choice is yours. Good speed in all your endeavours.
Hey thanks for sharing. For your initial medical extension, did you do an upfront med for it to be extended to dec 2021? Please let me know. I have the exact same AOR as you and did not receive PPR or remed yet
My meds are currently expired.
No I didn't do it when expired in December 2020. The status changed to - you do not need medicals at that time. Called up IRCC and the agent told me that it was extended till 15Dec2021. The extension didn't show up in my gckey, just IRCC agent confirmation through call. After that no update what so ever only one ghost update in Jan 2021. Biometric passed- 15JAN2020. If that date helps you figure out. Maybe something to do with biometric date to trigger remed request. I'm just assuming. All the best.. You will get it soon too.
Hey thanks for sharing. My medicals have also been extended till 15th Dec 2021 but haven’t shown up in the gckey. Though in my case what’s confusing is my spouse medicals are extended till 3rd March 2022.
Strange.. How can they give two different extension dates like that. I cannot understand IRCC most of the time. Anyway, all the best. Hope you get your update or PPR soon.
Yeah that’s why am confused whether to go for upfront medicals currently. Hope you get your PPR soon.

Thanks so much. I hope so. My first MEP - 20. Jan 2020 and Biometric Passed - Jan 29 2020. After that my meds were automatically extended to April 30 2021. I got to know on GCMS. After April I checked with IRCC using a webform and they mentioned my meds expired but I dont need to get a remed as the officer looking at my file hasn't requested for one. Im getting an upfront med done though next week. Hope that helps.
Yes got remed because the extension will expire within a month. I am going to do it next week.

HI, I got re-medicals, the doctor didn't really want to give me a confirmation document to submit to the IRCC and said he'll submit them himself. Will that be enough? any chance this gets messed up?
