Hi @legalfalcon

My passport expires in about 6 months. Just wondering, do they issue PPR's for applicants whose passports are due to expire in less than 6 months? Thanks

When you submit your passport for a visa/COPR, you need a passport that is valid for at least 6 months or longer. If your passport will expire in 6 months, get it renewed.

Have you sent a special email to speed up your application ?
I will answer all the questions here:
1. I sent them emails telling them I am stuck in limbo and need them to give me any update at all. I actually posted my email on this forum before. Scroll back a few pages and you will find it. I sent it to everyone even the press in Canada, but I think the one that made a difference was the email to the high commissioner in Singapore.
2. I received standard re-med request in my account with a new IME form + an email from SGVO.
My impression is that they will process everybody starting early 2022. I hope they won't delay any further.

Thanks a lot for the message.
Do you have the email address that you send to the high commissioner of Canada in Singapore ?

Hi everyone, I recently heard from the Singapore VO that my passport will be requested in early 2022. They requested me to undergo a new medical exam.

can you pls share the exact reply/mail which you received from SGVO which is saying you will receive PPR by early 2022? pls it will mean a lot for us and you can just remove the personal details and share the mail reply from SGVO pls. thanks

Hi guys, just got ready for visa email. Now the question is what is the difference between ready for visa and PPR?
@Ahmad KH That is the PPR email only. You need to follow the given instructions and send your passport to the VO to receive the stamped passport and COPR.
