Hi everyone i want to share my story in the hope that you guys can tell me how good my chances are of obtaining h & c to remain in canada with my son and possibly provide any helpfull information that i can use ..
I came to canada in 2013 from a european country on a work visa , i worked and paid taxes for 2 years then my visa expired but i continued to remain here.
In 2017 i met a girl who has canadian citizenship and i began a relationship with her,in 2019 we welcomed our son who is now 2 yrs old and he was born here and is a canadian citizen.i remained in canada all these years working for cash not paying taxes ,just recently me and my sons mom have parted ways.
The 4 .5 year long relationship has been extremely chaotic and toxic,the girl is extremely violent and abusive , mentally, verbely,emotionally & physically.She has assaulted me so many times i have lost count ,the police with the most recent incident had to place her under arrest and gave me a date to appear in court and put a protection order in place for my safety that she couldnt speak or be near me until the court case,they did this because she has numerous cases of assault against me and they had documented multiple previous callouts to our home for 911 calls.
She has extreme anger issues that she has never seeken help for and if even the smallest thing upsets her ,she would destroy my property clothes, personal items even my passport which i have proof of by way of phone conversation screenshots and pics.
She would tell me during one of her violent episodes she is going to be so nasty to me and revenge on me and other than assaulting me or personal belongings she would call police and call immigration and tell them my status ,that would greatly upset and stress me in fear of getting deported and leaving my son who i love more than anythimg and have always been in hes life and provided for..by the luck of god immigration even tho she has given them my company name , home address and place of employment they havent come and taken me.
She would emotionally abuse me too by way of sending nude pics of herself to other men and talking sexually to eachother , men she would meet online and then screenshot the conversation and pics to me to upset me, she would mentally and verbally abuse me too calling me bad names, saying im ugly , telling me too commit suicide repeatedly and saying nobody loves me my son doesnt , your mom doesnt even call u from back home and sends me pics of a noose to hang myself or a knife to slit my neck with ,everything i am saying i have screenshots of as proof.
She has self harmed a few times too cutting her arms with a knife and just last month october 2021 she cut herself and then posted the pic on her ig and fb story and her dad and sister came and took our son from her so she can calm down for the day etc.
The reason i broke up with her in late october is because i forgot to call her at 530pm after i finished my work and she flew into a rage and said she was going to revenge on me and even after i apologised to her many times it didnt calm her down.She went too a brothel late that evening here in this city and had her photos along with services provided and prices posted on a well known escort website and since late october she is actively working as a prostitute .i have plenty of proof of this by screenshots of her ad on the website, and even her admitting in phone text that she did it out of revenge and even told me the website to find her on , i screenshotted the whole conversation,i have also used a fake number and messaged the number on her advertisement speaking to the brother owner who handles her bookings and pretented to be a client etc and screenshotted that as proof too.
She even leaves my 2yr old son with her family when it is supposed to be her time with him bcuz we have 50percent shared weekly custody and she goes to the brothel which makes me extremely upset for my son that hes own mom is leaving him on her time with him to work as a sex worker.i go to the escort website every single day to see if her ad gets posted so i know when she is working etc.she has threathened me that if i tell her family or child services she will get me deported asap.
This is an extremely hard and difficult time for me and i feel like i am letting my son down but scared to be deported , so i recently contacted an immigration lawyer and shared my story and he said my case if very strong but it is several thousands of dollars to aquire hes help and im having a hard time paying.
I pray i can figure everything out and get pr and take full custody of my son because hes mom is mentally unwell,she isnt an addict if anyone reading this thinks that she is , she is actually in college has a regular job apart from escorting and is big into fitness and working out etc but is just extremly violent and abusive and mentally ill and in the 2 years of my sons life she has shown her nasty side and been violent to me in hes presence..
