I have been invited to take the test between Nov 15 and Dec 6, update happened on Friday.

I am from Edmonton and I received a test invite last week. Test window November 15 to December 6. Same window as some Calgary applicants.

Might suggest a bit of movement in Alberta.

Hello My wife is from Edmonton applicant too, In In her Citizenship status there is a new updates which is scheduled to take a test same date with you but she didn't received any email invitation.
Below is the updated message from her status:
You've been scheduled to take citizenship test online between November 15, 2021 and December 6, 2021. Information and instructions will be sent to you.

Yes, both my wife and I. We received it on Monday 8 and our accounts were updated on Friday 5.

I mailed my citizenship application in June of 2019. I am old so I don’t have to test. After more than two years I have an oath ceremony scheduled.

I heard something that CIC would need to do another background check if your application becomes 2 years old how true is this? I submitted in March 2020 and my citizenship test status was updated to complete since Aug 3, 2021. No one wants to find themself in the situation of another background check that will then make the process longer than it already is.

I sent my application in June 2019 my ceremony is this month. As far as I can tell, only once on the background check for me.

I received an email last week from the IRCC and got all excited hoping was the Oath Invite but was a Survey. I have my sisters wedding next May in the USA hope all is completed so I can attend. Good luck everyone!!!
