I have two family friends both on EE pool since March/July with average scores of 385 and 378 respectively. The first a Chemist, Master holder with 2 years experiences. The second, practising Pharmacist with 6 years experience with federal university. Both indicate interest in all provinces and territories. To date, no invitation or nomination. Although, they were unable to get Cerificate of Qualification yet, pls any advice for them will be appreciated.

Both have really low scores and no job offers with LMIA so will not get EE invitations. For EE, they need scores above 470. EE-FSW draws have no been held in a year.

For PNP, are they eligible for any programs. For Pharmacist, if that is the NOC, they she is not eligible for any PNP programs as it is a licensed profession. Can’t say about chemist, because don’t know NOC. For chemist, look at SINP and whether the NOC is ever drawn with SINP score.

Thanks.
Yes the scores are low. They both met EE-FSW. Yes, pharmacist is the NOC most province seem to require certificate of qualification which could take a year to complete. For the chemist, unqualified because of 5 points needed 60 grids, but end up around 56. The challenges with chemist is that each province regulate the profession. The confusion is if apply for say Ontario, would Alberta or Saskatchewan accept another province certification or license?

For Pharmacists, the issue is that the NOC is not eligible at all for PNP options. EE is the only option.

For the chemist, what do you mean by unqualified. What is the NOC? She would not be eligible for OINP anyways because the NOC is not one in the human capitals stream.

OK. For pharmacist what can she do to boost scores in EE? Do you think getting her spouse ECA and language test will be the next option?
For the Chemist, I mean in SINP, he needs like 4 or 5 points to meet the 60 point grids for international graduate nomination pathway. I think he score low under years of experience. His NOC is 4031 (Level A) Chemist.

She needs 470+ so what is her profile? Her spouse ECA and language will not give that much more points.

So for SINP there is only the skilled worker pathway. If he doesn’t have 60 points, he is not eligible. NOC 4031 is secondary teacher so he is a teacher? What is his profile? He needs close to 70 points for SINP.

OK.
Age : 29
Language (IELTS):
Listening-8.0
Reading - 6.5
Writing - 6.0
Speaking -7.0 Overall- 7.0
ECA: Canadian equivalence- Master's degree.
Improve IELTS scores is the first thing. Want at least 7s., and 8s if possible. Assuming doesn’t have a lot of work experience with having a master degree. Again EE is only option for pharmacists.

Thanks. I'll let him know. It is the chemist. The pharmacist has 5-6 years experience.
