PGP Application 2021

Hello:

I have a few questions about PGP Application. Please help me on below queries:

1. Form IMM5768 - Financial Evaluation for Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship - I am legally separated, for the section about Family Members count - part 5 is about Your Spouse or common-law partner, do I have Put 0, or do I have to count my spouse in the number of family members count for parents sponsorship?

2. Form IMM5768 - Financial Evaluation for Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship - Q 15 Your Spouse's current situation - do I leave the section blank? or provide information

3. Form IMM1344 - There are two options in the Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking: a) Withdraw your sponsorship Application. All processing fees less $75 will be refunded. b) Proceed with the application for permanent residence. Processing fees will be retained. Which of the two options is advisable?

I have a quick question. Can I have my Mother as the Principal Applicant, while my Father as dependant. What exactly are the dis-advantages in having my Mother as Principal Applicant while Father is alive ? OR should the male member always be the Principal Applicant ? Father and Mother I'm sponsoring are biological and are still married.

I do NOT think we indicated the Principal Applicant at the time of expression of interest in Oct/2020.

The reason why I 'm asking is, my Father is a bit fickle-minded. So I do NOT want to screw up my Mother's chances of getting PR having my Father as the Principal Applicant, if he backs off at a later date.

No disadvantage. Your mother can certainly be the primary.

Note that regardless of whether your father is the primary or not and whether he is accompanying or non-accompanying, he needs to take and pass the medical and also needs to provide PCCs in order for your mother's PR visa to be approved.

but for 2018, it is a bit less than required.
Required is 68000 our combine 65000.

but we have significant savings here in Canada 50000+ also my wife recently got a better job (previous was only part time now she got full time job)
should we go ahead and apply or what?

what's your thoughts on this.

You are ineligible for PGP and your application will be automatically refused due to not meeting LICO for 2018. Savings are not considered only NOC.

I (sponsor) does NOT have a DOB certificate. When I was applying for PR, I used a Canadian Notary to get a notarized letter in lieu of DOB. Now that I'm in India on vacation for 2 months, wondering whether I can submit a DOB notarized in India ? If YES, can someone provide me the format ?

It is kind of strange that my Canadian passport / India passport has parents name on it and bunch of documents submitted as part of my parents visitor visa, has my parents name on it. Yet they need sponsors DOB

Unlikely that EOI will happen in 2021. Lottery already happened for 2021 using the EOI forum 2020.

50k would not be considered significant savings. You are short of your income requirement by a pretty significant amount so you should be refused.

I'm confused with the current process of submitting the application form for PGP-2021. For eg., if we fill in IMM-0008 online, do we also have to fill the PDF of IMM-0008, take printout and upload it ? If everything is online (except the sponsor form), how do we get the signatures of the principal applicant, photographs etc. I have filled in my PR and Citizenship applications on physical forms - so this process is bit confusing.

How do we attach the invitation letter along with the application? Before we used to attach the invitation letter along with the application in Physical format and courier it.

Hi, i got the invitation to apply for PGP 2021, i would like to bring my mother in canada since she is living alone in my home country and she needs special care due to her medical condition.as my wife is co-signing im showing her noa for the year 2018, Our income is below the MNI for 2019 since i worked in another country for half of the year, we also had a child on 2019 and my wife went on maternity leave.2020 we have more than 30k above the MNI and 2021 would get better, my question is if i should apply and fill out the H&C form explaining the situation? Do i have a chance to sponsor under humanitarian consideration ?

You can attempt to apply for H&C if your application is denied for not meeting LICO in 2019. How much were you short in 2019? If she has medical needs that could also result in refusal depending on the type of medical needs and the associated costs. You can attempt to apply for a TRV or supervisa for your mother to visit at the moment.

We have 54000 and the MNI is 61209 for 4 people for 2019. Yes im also concerned about getting rejected because of her health condition, my mother is cardiopath, she had angioplasty, she also has hypertension, Diabetic.But all controlled by medications. So do you suggesst bringing her by super visa ?

I do not think you have a chance of being approved with H&C considerations. Not meeting the income requirements is a refusal and IRCC won't consider special considerations. I personally wouldn't waste the money and time applying given the outcome is certain.
