for IMM5768 ( Financial evalaution ) , i cant enter a number on the first box ( YOU) i need to enter number 1 but cant type it however in the other boxes i can....what can i do ?? should i print and do it manually ??? please i need advise . this is the only form is left.

you have to do for the family information only

they wont be counted since they are not depent of your parents...same with me, my only brother is married and wont be part of the process however goes in the family information.

My wife came to Canada in 2019, Can she be my co-signer for sponsoring the parents (she has only 2 year taxation statements)?
I meet the income requirement for 2018 and 2019 but for 2020 I need the co-signer.
To be eligible as cosignor, it says we both must have the 3 year taxation statement which is not possible in her case.

not sure. ask your accountant , they might be able to help you ..i will talk to my accountant as well since i've been in maternity last year, not sure what to put there...good luck

Hi all, the invitation letter says 60 days from email (sept23 so nov 23) and also says must receive by december 6 as another deadline. Which one would the deadline actually be? Did anyone else notice this?

For payment of fee on CIC website- should we login as us (sponsor) or parent (principal applicant)?

i would say as principal account since only you created an account for the principal not as sponsor.

Yes, I've gone through the complete guide but still wanted to clarify on above thing I posted.
While calculating the family size, under Step-2, he says to count the person getting sponsored + the dependents. So, I just want to clarify does it mean we need to include only the dependents who are still relying on my parents? or no matter what, just include all even though they are not staying with them.

Appreciate if you could clarify please. Thanks.

I am in the same shoes as yours, I am not sweating it since I already submitted before I realized they wanted all pages, if it is incomplete and returned, you do not loose your slot. You simply just update with the required document and resubmit. For people that are yet to submit, they have the opportunity to get it right at once.

Hi,

Can anyone confirm if we need to physically sign the IMM1344 form?
After I click Validate button on the form, it clearly says "If you are applying online, you do not need to sign your application from by hand. You will be asked to provide an electronic signature once you are ready to transmit your documents to CIC.". But the guide says we need to print and sign this form. There is no mention of online application in the guide.

i validate and i dont see that note that says you dont have to sign by hand

I can confirm that it doesn't affect visitors visa application cos they approved my parents in laws visa with the new portal, I reapplied with the new portal Sept 21 (previous application was Nov 2020, No traction per GCMS note) and submitted the PR sponsorship after that. So they literally had 3 applications for same persons.

Please read the definition of "dependents"
in the guide.
Then include dependents when calculating family size.
No one will be doing such things for you.

Does anyone know why IRCC is asking for details of applicants dependent’s spouse info. These are adult children and are not accompanying anyone to Canada. Thought they normally asked for defendants and then u just write their names, date of birth, and address. But now they are asking for that son or daughter marital status and then asking for their spouse info.

Even though IRCC can ask for stupid things, I don’t think they are asking for blank pages of your passport, if there is a visa on one of the pages then yes, but not blanks
